The company is led by highly experienced, oil and gas professionals with a proven track record in the exploration and appraisal of projects in the Canning Basin, Onshore and Offshore Australia and Internationally.
Focused on developing the Canning Basin, Kidson Energy holds a significant acreage position totalling 21,050 sq. kms (5.2 million acres) in the highly prospective Kidson Sub Basin. Kidson Energy is the holder of a Special Prospect Authority with Acreage Option (SPA/AO) STP-SPA-0091 and an application for Petroleum Exploration Permit STP-EPA-0143 both with a 100% interest.
Kidson Energy has worked closely with all Traditional Owners to develop protocols and agreements to ensure that all proposed activities are conducted in a sensitive manner with respect to all traditions, culture, and heritage.
