Kidson Energy extends contract with AllScope Energy Consultants for continued support to the Canning Basin operator

AllScope Energy Consultants have had their contract extended by Kidson Energy Pty Ltd, a major holder of tenements under application in the Canning Basin, to provide all Stakeholder Engagement, Subsurface and Operational support linked to the Kidson Energy grant applications.

Kidson Energy (previously PMAL Petroleum) are the holders of over 21,000 sq.km of tenement across a Special Prospecting Authority (STP-SPA-0091) and Exploration Permit Application (STP-EPA-0143) in the Canning Basin. Parts of the area were previously under title to ConocoPhillips and New Standard Energy who commenced an exploration program in the area before abandoning the well (Gibb Maitland - 1) due to equipment related issues. The target reservoir was not reached at Gibb Maitland - 1 and the highly prospective Gibb Maitland - 2 was not drilled.

AllScope Energy have completed significant technical offset reviews and developed operational plans and provisional work programs and costings for Kidson Energy. They have also been involved directly with supporting ongoing Native Title conversations and facilitated in the establishment of several Protocols and Heritage Agreements.

“AllScope Energy Consultants are excited about continuing the development and execution of a work program with Kidson that reflects the strong cost focus the Operator has and the opportunity to work in a highly prospective yet untouched part of the Canning Basin – Miranda Formby, Director of Operations and Resourcing”.
